Foreign tourists experience the hands-on process of threshing rice, which separates grain seed from the stalks and husks, in Longji town of Guilin in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Sunday. The Longji Rice Terraces have recently entered the peak harvest season, with many foreign tourists taking part in various autumn harvest agricultural activities, such as threshing paddy rice by beating the plants to make the seeds fall out.
