A boat lies stranded on the dried-up bed of the Poroszlo basin of Lake Tisza in eastern Hungary on Wednesday. After a dry summer and early autumn, the lake's water reserves have fallen to a minimum. Authorities are using the reservoir to help secure drinking water supplies for nearby counties.
