AI, foreign trade on top of State Council executive meeting agenda
Premier Li Qiang chaired an executive meeting of the State Council on Monday, during which he heard a briefing on the development of artificial intelligence and reviewed the current foreign trade situation as well as work related to building China into a trader of quality.
The meeting called for a deep grasp of AI evolution trends, as well as improved policy support and governance.
On foreign trade, it stressed the need to proactively expand voluntary opening-up, uphold the international economic and trade order, and strengthen capabilities for safeguarding foreign-related security.
The meeting also approved plans for carbon peaking and national health during the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period.
