Attacks on healthcare killed over 2,000: UN
At least 2,042 people have been killed and 785 injured in 214 attacks on healthcare facilities in Sudan since the conflict began nearly three years ago, according to a joint statement of the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund. "These attacks further restrict access to healthcare at a time when it is needed most," said WHO Representative to Sudan Shible Sahbani. Fighting since mid-April 2023 has killed tens of thousands and displaced millions, according to international organizations.

Staff of nuclear corp evacuated after hit
Russia's state nuclear corporation Rosatom has begun the main phase of evacuating staff from the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran. A total of 198 employees are being transported by bus toward the Iranian-Armenian border. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran reported earlier that a projectile had hit an area near the Bushehr nuclear power plant, killing one security worker and marking the fourth such attack since the US-Israeli strikes on Iran began on Feb 28.
ARGENTINA
Top diplomat from Tehran expelled
Argentina's Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Saturday it had expelled Iran's top diplomat. In a message on X, Argentina's Foreign Affairs Minister Pablo Quirno said Iran's Charge D'Affaires, Mohsen Soltani Tehrani, had left the country "in compliance" with a resolution issued on Thursday that gave the Iranian diplomat 48 hours to leave the South American country. Tensions between the two nations intensified earlier this week after Argentina declared Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. Iran's Foreign Affairs Ministry said Argentina's actions amounted to an "unforgivable offense" influenced by the US.

18 dead in raids, dozens kidnapped
Gunmen killed seven people and kidnapped dozens more in raids on six remote villages in northern Nigeria, residents told AFP on Saturday. Police in central Nasarawa state also said on Saturday that 11 people had been killed and more than 50 houses set on fire. Killings and kidnappings have become almost daily occurrences in Africa's most populous country.
