Premier conducts inspection tour in Shandong province
Premier Li Qiang has emphasized the need to leverage artificial intelligence technologies to reshape the entire chain and full cycle of production and manufacturing.
He made the remarks on Monday while visiting the Jier Machine-Tool Group during his inspection tour in Shandong province. Li praised the manufacturing enterprise for enhancing its competitiveness through digital and intelligent transformation.
The inspection tour also brought the premier to a relay-pump station, where he gained an in-depth understanding of the Liaocheng-to-Jinan heating supply project.
Li held a symposium with local officials to learn about their suggestions and opinions on the draft government work report and the draft outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30).
Top political adviser meets with Russian delegation
China's top political adviser Wang Huning met in Beijing on Monday with a delegation led by Leonid Slutsky, chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia.
Wang, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, China's top political advisory body, said that China is ready to work with Russia to continuously consolidate strategic mutual trust, deepen good-neighborly friendship, enhance practical cooperation, and strengthen party-to-party exchanges. The CPPCC is willing to make positive contributions to this end, he added.
Slutsky said that the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia is willing to deepen its engagement with the Communist Party of China, firmly adhere to the one-China principle, and support the deepening of relations between the Russian and Chinese governments and legislative bodies.
