A stranded dolphin named Wanwan, rescued in Wanning, Hainan province, is released back into the sea on Sunday. The male pantropical spotted dolphin was stranded near Shenzhou Peninsula on June 18. After nearly three months of treatment and rehabilitation, he was declared healthy and returned to a suitable marine area in Wanning, marking his successful homecoming.
