�9�9 Around Sept 3: Symposiums for compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as relevant overseas individuals, along with international academic seminars, will be held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory against Japanese aggression and fascism.
�9�9 On Sept 18: A bell tolling and air-raid siren sounding ceremony will take place at the 9.18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, Liaoning province, to remember the September 18 Incident, which marked the beginning of Japanese troops' invasion of China in 1931.
�9�9 On Dec 13: A national memorial ceremony for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.
�9�9 A new list of national-level memorial facilities and sites for the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, as well as a new list of renowned heroes, martyrs and heroic groups who participated in the war, will be released.
