Trucks loaded with automobile parts are ready to leave Jingmen in Central China's Hubei province for Uzbekistan on Thursday. This freight transportation marks Hubei's first operation under the International Road Transport customs transit system, which is expected to shorten the transfer time to eight days. The system is based on a UN Convention implemented at global level in public-private partnership. It allows customs-sealed vehicles and freight containers to cross countries without border checks.
