Runners from around the world participate in the 27th Shanghai Marathon at the Bund on Sunday. Philimon Kiptoo Kipchumba, an athlete from Kenya, reached the finishing line in 2 hr 5 min 35 sec to clinch the men's title, a record for marathons held in China. More than 38,000 runners participated in the marathon.
