Jamyang, president of the High-level Tibetan Buddhism College of China, presents a certificate of thorampa, a prestigious academic degree in Tibetan Buddhism, to a graduating student at the college in Beijing on Tuesday. A total of 62 students from different sects of Tibetan Buddhism completed their three-year curriculum, passed debates on classic scriptures and thesis defense, and were awarded the title.
