
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro (right) and his Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro sign a trade agreement at the Atanasio Girardot International Bridge in Tachira, Venezuela, on Thursday, in the latest rapprochement between the neighbors. Their diplomatic ties were severed after Petro's predecessor, Ivan Duque, joined several countries, led by the United States, in recognizing opposition leader Juan Guaido as Venezuela's legitimate leader.
