With nine themed sections and more than 190 forums, conferences, business talks and promotional activities, the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services showcased a range of products and solutions, highlighting technological applications across various industries.
The Culture and Tourism Services Section is consistently popular with visitors each year. This year, the section not only showcased traditional Chinese culture, international cultural exchanges and new consumption experiences, but also offered visitors immersive cultural experiences.
One of the most popular booths was that of the Beijing Fine Art Academy, which unveiled the exhibition One Flower, One World — The Digital Immersive Art of Qi Baishi, created using artificial intelligence and three-dimensional imaging technology.
The going-global services exhibition area, which debuted in the Transportation and Business Services Section, was regarded as a highlight of this year's fair. It brought together more than 30 professional service providers in fields such as finance, law, accounting, advertising and human resources to deliver one-stop solutions for businesses expanding overseas.
The Engineering Consulting and Construction Services Section covered an area of 7,100 square meters this year, the largest in the fair's history. It centered on industry trends such as urban renewal, intelligent construction and low-carbon development, showcasing the industry's latest achievements and case studies related to green transition, digital upgrading and international operations.
A range of construction equipment took center stage in the section, including the "Dream" shaft boring machine, which has an excavation diameter of 23.02 meters. It integrates excavation, spoil removal and support functions, and adopts different working modes based on geological conditions.
Meanwhile, a series of industry seminars and conferences took place in the section, where Chinese and foreign industry experts shared their insights into pressing issues and jointly explored cooperation opportunities in construction services.
In the Telecommunications, Computer and Information Services Section, China's leading online service platform Meituan showcased its self-developed large language model LongCat-2.0, as well as the AI agent platform CatPaw. Visitors learned how AI can support people's daily lives by experiencing the entire process from voice-activated ordering to automated delivery.
For the first time, financial institutions participated in the financial services exhibition alongside the tech enterprises they support. They were from fields such as computing chips, robotics, intelligent driving and biomedicine. They offered visitors a panoramic view of the financial products and services tailored to support tech companies throughout their life cycles, according to the organizers.
At this year's CIFTIS, the Education Services Section focused on two primary themes: international education cooperation and smart education innovation. It highlighted achievements in inbound and outbound study programs, Sino-foreign cooperative education and vocational education, with exhibits such as AI-powered educational models and educational robots.
The Sports Services Section gathered China's top sports service providers, such as Migu Culture Technology and Beijing Rigour Technology, along with representatives from international sports organizations, to showcase China's sports service resources and promote international cooperation.
The section's main event — the Conference on Building World-Class Sports Host Cities and High-Quality Development of the Sports Event Economy — was held on Thursday. Participants delved into topics such as the sports event economy, sports consumption and the integrated development of sports events and other industries. The 2025 Report on Development of China's Trade in Sports Services was also released during the event.
The Environmental and Energy Services Section focused on three themes this year: low-carbon energy transition, the circular economy and advanced new materials. Among the exhibitors, Beijing Chaoyang Environment Group demonstrated its near-zero-carbon circular economy industrial park, while BYD drew attention with its flash charging technology, capable of taking a car's battery from 10 percent to 70 percent in just five minutes at room temperature.

According to the organizers, this was the sixth year that CIFTIS was held at Shougang Park in Beijing's Shijingshan district. Through an array of renovation and construction projects, the park has been transformed into an international conference and exhibition destination.
