Workers lay the first section of track at a high-speed railway construction site in Songming county on Wednesday, marking the start of track-laying for the Chongqing–Kunming High-speed Railway's Yunnan section. Stretching 388.6 kilometers, it is the province's first line designed for speeds up to 350 km per hour.
