Police detain an activist during a protest in New Delhi on Thursday following the death of a college student from Balasore in the Indian state of Odisha. The 20-year-old student died by self-immolation on July 12 after allegedly facing sexual harassment by her head of department. Her plea for help was also allegedly ignored by the college authorities.
