
Visitors wave national flags on Saturday during a public tour of the aircraft carrier Shandong in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. A fleet of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy, led by the Shandong, arrived in Hong Kong on Thursday for a five-day visit. The fleet, which also includes the missile destroyers Yan'an and Zhanjiang and the missile frigate Yuncheng, opened for public tours over the weekend. The event made Hong Kong the first city in China to have hosted two active national aircraft carriers, including the Liaoning in 2017. See more, pages 5, 8
