Staff members feed rescued baby black storks, a national first-class protected wild animal, at the wildlife rescue center in Jiuquan, Gansu province, on Tuesday. The workers used an excavator to rescue the chicks, which were found abandoned on a cliff. The chicks were transported to the center to receive specialized care. Once they regain their strength and acquire the ability to survive independently, they will be released back into the wild.
