Guests and performers dance at the archaeological site of Petra, a city in southern Jordan, on Tuesday during the signing ceremony of an agreement on cooperation in culture and tourism between the Chinese city of Jiayuguan in Gansu province and Petra. Jiayuguan, the westernmost point of China's Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Great Wall, and the ancient city of Petra are both landmarks boasting rich cultural heritage. In 2017, the two cities established a twinhood relationship.
