Astronaut Chen Dong conducts spacewalk operations outside China's orbiting space station on Thursday. The Shenzhou XX crew — Chen Dong, Chen Zhongrui and Wang Jie — worked for about eight hours and completed their mission's first series of extravehicular activities at 4:49 pm, assisted by a team on Earth, according to the China Manned Space Agency.
