Master scholars question monk candidates on their understanding of the Five Great Volumes of Tibetan Buddhism during the annual dharma debating exam at the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, Xizang autonomous region, on Tuesday. Thirteen monks passed the exam and were accredited as Geshe Lharampas, the highest academic degree in the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism.
