Artistes perform the Yingge dance, a martial arts-inspired dance with opera and music, during Lantern Festival celebrations on Wednesday in Quzhou county, Hebei province. Lantern Festival, also known as Yuanxiao Festival, is celebrated two weeks after Chinese New Year and falls on the 15th day of the first month in the Chinese calendar. The festival features lantern displays, dragon and lion dances, and yuanxiao, or sweet glutinous rice dumplings, among other traditional cultural elements.
