Smart robot industry sees robust growth

By the end of 2024, the number of enterprises in the smart robot industry in China had reached 451,700, with a total registered capital of 6.44 trillion yuan ($880 billion), according to the State Administration for Market Regulation. The number of such enterprises grew by 19.39 percent compared to the end of 2023.

Yuan weakens against greenback

The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, weakened 8 pips to 7.1707 against the US dollar on Monday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System.
