A snow sculpture of Ni Ni, a mascot for the 9th Asian Winter Games, welcomes tourists at the Harbin Ice and Snow World Park in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, on Sunday, the opening day of the 41st Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival. The Asian Winter Games will be held in the city between Feb 7 and 14. Harbin has entered its peak winter tourism season with the opening of the monthlong festival and the upcoming Games.
