Young people from Asia and Europe appreciate a jade disc at the Liangzhu Museum in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Wednesday. The disc, which is engraved with a bird perched on a high platform, is widely believed to symbolize the sacrificial rituals of the Liangzhu culture — a civilization that existed in the Yangtze River Delta between 3300 and 2300 BC. More than 50 youths from 47 countries visited the museum as part of the Asia-Europe Young Leaders Campus program.
